Hackers got lazy and dumped this project. he's making a better version (with me :D) but all scripts still repeat because flags never work D:!

Try this:

Quote from: VVVVVVifflag(X,script1)
flag(X,on)
ifflag(X,script2)

X is a number. They all need to be the same.
Preferably you should make script1 do nothing (put delay(1) or something)

I think that works, but there are other examples in the Scripts index and tips thread (in this board).
Did anyone think of that way before? :o
Also, script1 can be completely empty (without any commands).

It doesn't even have to exist.

Looks great doesn't it

i took dav999's advice. also BTW. it's actaully taking longer than the older VVVVVV 2!

Fussmatte

After you rescue Victoria, you can't go forward, and you can't go back. You have to save everypony else first and save her last. Also ALL THE SCRIPTS REPEAT.
Also too easy

Did you not follow my advice, Gold/Hacker4334 (I keep typing 3443)

The horror of repeating scripts must be stopped ONCE AND FOR ALL

OK. Say you have 3 scripts: stop, derp_load, and derp.

Put this in derp_load:

(Hoof-drawn just because)
Replace N with whatever.
Make stop empty and put dialogue or whatever into derp.
USE derp_load AS THE SCRIPT THAT VIRIDIAN WALKS THROUGH
THERE YOU GO

You have good hoof-writing, by the way

Anyways, now my review of the level:

Story: 8.3/10

The dimension being ripped apart is something I never noticed in other levels. A good twist from the usual "the ship got wrecked."

Design: 2.4/10

There are quite a few glitches, and for the most part the levels too easy. Also, like Rainbow Dash said, once you rescue Victoria, you can't go back or forwards, making the level Unwinnable by Mistake.

Scripts: 1.3/10

They repeat. THEY F***ING REPEAT. That gives an immediate -8 for most levels (with the exception of Dimension WWWWWW, that was a good level), and some scripts are glitchy. For example, the 1st terminal just causes some borders appear (this might be the fact that I'm using 2.0, 2.1 doesn't work on my XP)

Length: X/10

I couldn't finish it do to the  :victoria: glitch, so no rating.

Overall: 4.1/10

Not the worst level, but could be much better.

My god, that took a while.

Hay, did you know that you can make the warp direction do nothing by placing an inaccessible warp line behind the room name, then adding the warp direction? (Heck, you can even put a wall over the warp line afterwards.)
(Also, Protoman/N, the reason you only got cutscene bars was because of say(7) in the script.)

Anyways, here's a *fixed* version.

Thanks dashie. OK, now an honest review.

Design: 2.4/10

WORST. FINAL. LEVEL. EVER.

Music Choices: 7.8/10

They're fitting, but I personally think Popular Potpourri not playing in the ending seems kind of strange. Also, whenever you rescue a crewmate, the music crashes. Next time, go to Change Music and select something, then put music(0) at the beginning of the first script.

Scripts: 1.2/10

They repeat. THEY F***ING REPEAT. That gives an immediate -8 for most levels (with the exception of Dimension WWWWWW, that was a good level), and some scripts are glitchy. For example, the 1st terminal just causes some borders to appear (this might be the fact that I'm using 2.0, 2.1 doesn't work on my XP) Also, the delay commands are too long. Shorten them, please.

Length: 0.2/10

It is WAY too short.

Overall: 3.46/10

A huge room for improvements. A huge room.
