Hey,

I'm from Germany and I tried out the Demo some weeks ago.
The game was fantastic and I want to buy it, but I'm not 18 and I don't have a credit card.
My parents won't buy it for me.
It would be nice if you could make new payment methods for example Paysafecard or some other Payment methods that people under 18 can use. I think more people would buy the game then.

There isn't really a lot I can do about this. Sorry! :victoria:

The new Online version uses Kreds, which are Kongregate's site currency. I think you can buy them using other payment methods (including mobile phones!).

Also, I'm not sure about this, but it might be possible to add money to a paypal account using other payment methods.

I saw the new Online Version. But it costs more than 2x more than the downloadable version.
And I would rather play the downloadable version because it have fullscreen.
I can't make a Paypal account because only people who are over 18 can make one.
I think the best you can do would be to add new payment methods which people under 18 can use.

Regards

Wait wait wait! No it doesn't - it certainly shouldn't, anyway! It's 150 Kreds, which should be $15 - (slightly less, possibly, if you buy them in bulk). Where did you see it for more than that?

I'm sorry, I wish I could help - I don't have any control over the payment methods that fastspring offer...

Actually, have you looked at Get Games? Maybe they offer something that fastspring doesn't?

Yes, the game is more expensive on Kongregate. If I buy the game normally it costs 10,67 €

34 Kreds are 4,99€ I need 150 of them. That means that it costs nearly 22€ and the version is not as good as the normal version because it have no fullscreen and I can't play it without internet connection :/.

Get Games unfortunely have the same payment methods.  :victoria:

Terry

That's just not true...

Here are the prices I see:

# 50 kreds only $5.00
# 110 kreds only $10.00

Annoyingly, that means two seperate purchases, but 160 creds costs exactly $15!

Do you have a link to that price on Kongregate? Or a screenshot? If that's true, that's kind of a big deal for me and I want to talk to them about it...

Oh, I see - it's the mobile phone thingy. Right, that's pretty annoying, sorry about that, it's a localised thing :( They'll probably come down in price soon though, I think the mobile payment system is a new thingy they're trying out...

In Ireland I get this:

# 13 kreds only 2.00 EUR
# 17 kreds only 2.50 EUR

i.e. 150 kreds would cost me 22 euro. That's mental. I think I'll send Kongregate an email about it.

Thank you very much.  :viridian:

But it's sad that I can only play the online version then.
Or I will wait 2 years until I can get a credit card and buy the downloadable version myself.  :victoria:

Sorry for pushing this old thread up. But I must say that today is my 17 birthday. And that means that I must only wait 365 more days to buy this game! I'm so excited. I'm waiting 8 months and I think everyday about the game. Can't wait until this year is over!  :viridian:

Ah, hi again!

I'm actually working on getting VVVVVV onto a certain other website right now. Hopefully that makes things a bit easier. :viridian:

Thank you very much for your efforts.  :viridian: I hope that I will be able to buy it then.
It's sometimes hard to wait this long, although I'm waiting for a few other games and I'm used to wait a long time. It only makes me nervous in this case because the game is out for a long time and theoretically I would be able to play it.
