I’m desperately trying to find the original source of this VVVVVV fanart

Hello everyone. I'm really hoping someone here can help me.

I've been searching for the original source of a specific piece of VVVVVV fanart for several years now, but I still haven't been able to find it. I originally found the image sometime around 2019 or 2020 by doing an image search—likely on Bing or Google—using the keyword "VVVVVV イラスト" (Japanese for "VVVVVV illustration"). At the time, I saved it and used it as my PC wallpaper, but due to a later computer change and data transfer, I lost the original image file.

Unfortunately, I was a student back then and didn't make a note of the artist's name or the site it came from. Now, I only have a photo of my old monitor with the wallpaper still visible. I've tried image searches (Google, Bing, reverse image tools), date-specific searches, and checked fanart platforms like pixiv, DeviantArt, Reddit, and Twitter—but I've found absolutely no trace of this artwork anywhere. It's as if it vanished from the internet.

I've also posted on Yahoo!知恵袋, OKwave, and Reddit to ask for help, but haven't received any leads yet. I recently discovered that I had mistakenly remembered using Google, when the image might actually have been found via Bing—because my old wallpaper photo shows the Edge browser in the taskbar.

Additionally, there is another VVVVVV fanart I saved around the same time that also has no online trace. I suspect the artist might have deleted their work or account, or perhaps it was posted on a site that no longer exists.

I'm beginning to wonder if this image might have originally been posted on a Japanese platform like pixiv and later deleted. There's one artist I'm looking into whose art style is somewhat similar, but the timeline doesn't match.

I know this is a long shot, but I really want to find the original source or artist. This artwork meant a lot to me, and it's been bothering me for years. If anyone has seen it before, recognizes the art style, or has any idea where it might've come from, please let me know.

My personal guess is that the picture was originally posted on DeviantArt in 2019, but then got deleted for an unkown reason. It looks like it was made on DeviantArt or some japanese fanart platform. I've personally never seen it before, but it looks cool.
