Ubuntu 11.04 Help

Hello,

As you may be able to guess, I am new to linux. I have Ubuntu 11.04 installed, and have the VVVVVV.tar.gz downloaded and extracted to the desktop. My question is, where do I go from here? Please explain everything as though I only know how to parrot commands and press enter.

You should be able to double click the "VVVVVV" file in the main directory and it will run in Ubuntu.
