Hi. I've had VVVVVV on the main menu now for a day or so w/o playing it, when it suddenly changed its' music track from Presenting VVVVVV to Predestined Fate for some weird reason.

Version 2.0

How come? :o

That glitch is strange, maybe it changed various times, if VVVVVV was open for a day.
"Presenting VVVVVV" is music(5) and Predestined Fate is music(6). Maybe that's why.

Why would you have VVVVVV open for a day without playing it, anyway?

Because I never turn off my computer, and rarely turn off applications. So VVVVVV just ended up being open for that long.

I'll try to keep it open for a day or two and see if the music changes again (to positive force reversed). :P

Some people don't close programs when they don't use them, other people don't even turn off their computer, for example if they need to get most time online on a particular website, like a forum for example... :P :vermillion: And then it is unnecessary to close all programs and only have a browser open, so yeah. And then it may glitch. About the glitch, I think the looping of the music is a not so infinite infinite loop. What that means, you can loop for a very large number of times, but there is a limit to it. If that limit is reached, the loop is ended, and it goes to the next piece of code, which is the next song, obviously. So, if you wait long enough, it will go further than the last song and it may start to glitch very badly. (This is just what I think, so I may be wrong.)

Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. :-X

I have read that music(5)=play(6) and play(7) isn't one of the standard songs (it's either the song at the beginning, after the Final Level or level complete, etc.), so why did it play music(6), which I suppose is play(8 )? Is ecroF evitisoP play(9)? Where's the list of play() commands, btw?

I sometimes don't close apps too, but I always close VVVVVV and other games when I'm not playing them. I sometimes let the browser stay open. About what I highlighted, I consider that as cheating, I usually log out (but I sometimes forget to do it).

DOY! :P

That's obvious, but what I tried to ask was this: Is there a button for it? Which one is it?

No button. You have to use code

blue626

I wonder where Dav999 knew about that code, then.

When I tried it the cutscene just ended.
As in, I moved the start away from the script, made positive force the start music and went to the play(15) script and positive force continued.
