I mean obstacles that might be easy for others, but harder for you.

Some people probably really struggle with conveyor-based challenges. I'm sure there are others who have a tough time with bouncing gravity lines, or quick hopping on disappearing platforms.

I personally randomly struggle with these type of challenges:

It seems so easy, but I have a tendency of running too far or not running enough. The one in this picture isn't so bad, but the really extended ones with this style give me a tough time.

You know the ones where you're on a disappearing platform and you have to run on them or else you fall into spikes

yeah, those and Veni Vidi Vici tunnels.

There was this one jerk who created a custom level that had SIX ROOMS in a row with this style challenge with ONE checkpoint.
I believe the names of those rooms were W, WW, WWW, WWWW, WWWWW, and WWWWWW. Man I hate that guy  :vermillion:  :D

Also, everyone finds vini vidi vici type challenges hard so that doesn't really count.

I'm assuming it only looked like that because I opened it in the editor (in 2.0). Gem mine also looked like a bunch of floating spikes in the editor, as opposed to multicolored gems it looked like when I just played the level normally.

I'm starting to regret buying the steam version as I would really like to play 2.1.

Download the VVVVVV.exe from the 2.1 thread

Place the 2.0 VVVVVV in a backup folder

Put the 2.1 VVVVVV folder

You have 2.1 VVVVVV! Yay! Now PHAGE it.

Thanks, it worked!

Narrow paths, like 2-tile-wide pits with spikes on both sides, corridors when you must tap precisely to avoid spikes, etc.

I find veni vidi vici tunnels mostly pretty easy. There's one exception though (Yes Golden Spiral, I'm looking at *you*)
