I decided to make a random poll lol!

So what is your favourite map out of these 5?

D/mens/on Sw/tchback was okay. Noth/ng wrong, but /t's not my favor/te.

VVVV 4k, a\though /t d/dn't have any prob\ems, was just \ack/ng /n scr/pts and a story\/ne.

D/mens/on 333333 d/d not have any \og/c at a\\: Apparent\y Sendy th/nks the Crew are term/na\s.

/ /hated/ "A new d/mens/on". /t's hard to get anywhere to get tr/nkets (wh/ch are hard to f/nd), there's a /\ot/ of s/ng\e t/\es, the scr/pt/ng a\so doesn't make sense (the composer of VVVVVV apparent\y a\so th/nks the Crew are term/na\s), and you can't escape from "Sweeney made me my magn/f/cent maze".

"Back to VVVVVV" was my /favor/te/! Un\/ke Sendy, Notch, and Sou\Eye, th/s \eve\ had \og/c, /nterna\ scr/pt/ng, a good story\/ne, and \ots of other funct/ons as we\\.

Gonna agree on Back to VVVVVV being the best one too.
Appropriate difficulty, well-implemented scripting, creative, sensible storyline are all strong points of the level.

I think you are referring to how dialogues of the crew appear in a grey textbox, right?
Scripting commands for coloured textboxes weren't officially implemented in 2.0. To make the textboxes coloured in 2.0, you need to apply internal scripting, which was not known at the time Sendy and Souleye made the levels.
In other words, coloured textboxes are not 2.0 compatible and they used less advanced commands in 2.0 when making the level.
Or maybe you wasn't meaning this and I'm just saying irrelevant things

Back To VVVVVV is defiantly my favourite, but Dimension Switchback is cool aswell. 

EDIT: Dimension 333333 is also quite good.

Dimension 333333 is the level I like the most. The level design provides a lot of new interesting ideas compared to earlier levels, the Direct Mode designing is amazing and the best looking I've seen out of all levels I've played, it provides interesting challenges, and the dialog, especially the 20/20 trinkets one, is interesting and was definitely worth it. The level is a bit on the hard side though, even the "easy" version of it.
Dimension 333333, along with the main game itself, was also what provided the inspiration for me for Back to VVVVVV.

...speaking of which, I'm surprised and flattered over how many people voted my own level as their favorite.

Oh, you're probably using the wrong version then!
The Direct Mode version used to be 3DS exclusive for a while because the download link of the newer version was dead. Hold on a sec, I'll link the proper version...

My favorite was Back To VVVVVV. Even though I'm Toaster's #1 fan (internal scripting rocks! ), I couldn't complete Dimension Switchback
because I don't have 2.1. I enjoyed the others, but FIQ's level was AMAZING! (I overuse GLOW!)

His level had a good storyline, used internal scripting (why did I bold that ), used direct mode (I LOVE DIRECT MODE ), what else... This isn't a spoiler: I tricked you! Hahaha! <-- can't place Cheesy smiley.

New Dimension, of course.

Quite a mental stress, confusing a bit, not to mention very difficult... Found myself quitting many times, lol.
But the design was decent, fun to play.... Most of the time... And interesting in design.

Though one of my top favs is still This is Portal, by PJ. ^_^
