IMO this would make DTTHW a LOT more frustrating :vermillion:

The Brass

But then it would no longer be an Insurmountable Waist Height Fence. Nor could you stand on the wall to show off.

But wouldn't a spike be more annoying than a harmless speed bump? :vermillion:

I'm not very familiar with this kind of forum software, but I'm certain I should be able to figure out how to see an attachment.

Ignoring the moderator controls, what's missing from this screen?  How should I be viewing DTTHW.png?

Spikes are everywhere, and their job is to kill you. The box is unique, and it's job is to make you do things the hard way.

TBH I don't think that would affect the difficulty much at all. I've completed DTTHW a good few times now and I haven't touched the box on any of them.

What's TBH?  ???

"To be honest," methinks.

I agree that the spike wouldn't do much.  Part of the humor of DTTHW is that you're foiled by a knee-high fence, fully illustrating the consequences of your inability to move vertically without flipping gravity entirely.
